What I enjoy
- · Getting to the bottom of things. A restart fixing it isn't the same as knowing why it broke — I (usually) keep pulling the thread until I've got the real answer, not just a working one.
- · Understanding something properly before I trust it. Reading the actual source instead of the summary — whether that's a Dockerfile's declared volumes or the mint marks on a 2,300-year-old coin.
- · Spotting the pattern underneath the mess. Once you see what's actually recurring — in a stack trace, in a market, in a pile of data — the fix (or the argument) is usually right there.
What I am currently doing
- · Researching a numismatic article on Paeonian coinage.
- · Working through an ethical hacking course.
- · Getting the small family farm ready for the upcoming winter.
Did you know? A lot of the photos you see of coinage have been heavily edited in order to better bring out details. Usually, the coin will look different in hand than it does in the photos. This isn’t a bad thing though, sometimes it might look even better than the photos!
